Heartful Wishes to the Butterfly Girl and a blog hop :)

Hello People :-)

How is everyone doing?

Welcome to Tejal's blog hop..Our butterfly girl is a special lady and what better way to celebrate a birthday with other than a blog hop....So hop along... You have 16 stops to make before heading to Tejal's blog to wish her.. And a blog hop also means prizes and surprises... So one random lucky commenter would get a Echo Park mini theme collection.. So what are you guys waiting for.. Hop along and join in the fun to wish Tejal a very happy birthday..

I really have no clue how to describe Tejal aka Tee (as all prefer calling her and so do I), and actually, she is someone who doesn't need any description. Each and every one here in blogland knows her.

I remember, I came across Tejal over facebook when I was very new to craft world, around a year back and left her a message on FB with such a silly mistake (I hope you remember it Tee :D and good if you forgot). When I was asked for a blog hop for Tee (by Khushboo Dee), it was a challenge in itself and I was scared at first, cos Tee is such a a perfectionist and I am the opposite of perfection. But, when it for her, I had to be a part of this and hence I agreed.

I wanted to try something different and hence, I made a shaker card, as I never did one before. I wanted to make a card which described Tee's personality - SIMPLE!! And when it is for Tee, it had to have "Butterfly", "Bling" and "Glitter":D :D and added a bow too . And now, here is my take on it, have a look.

I would wholeheartedly like to thank Khushboo dee for giving me a chance to be a part of this. And I hope you all like my card :)

Now here is a list of the participating people in the hop, so in case you get lost along the way you know where to go....

So what are you waiting for.. Hop along and have fun.. and don't forget, you could be the lucky one to win Echo Park mini theme collection..

Hop Hop Hop..

Have fun.

Multi Fold Card !!

Hello Everyone,

Back here again posting a very quick multi-page card I made on my younger brothers request. My brother was very impatient and I had to make a quick card, with all the stuff he wanted (googled images, photographs etc.)

I have no clue where my mojo has been lost and I find no trace of getting it back, and to be frank, while working, I am hardly getting time for anything at all.

The card I made is based on Juhi's tute on multi page card which you can find here.

and here is what I made -

Supplies Used -

Cardstock - Local Buy
PPs - Itsy Bitsy, Paper Mania, local buy
Punches - MS Deco Shells, Daisy, Silhouette Butterfly, SD corner punch

Embellishments - Pie Lane Butterfly stickers and button, Bling and Ribbon (local buy), images from Google, Freebie from Skiptomylou
Uniball Signo White gel pen

critics and comments welcomed.

Thanks,

Apeksha

PPS Contest Card - You are my Sunshine

Hey All,

I am not a person who blogs a lot, but now I decided I will atleast give it a try and so here I am back after a long long time.

Today, I would like to share with you a card I made for PPS contest, which asked us to make a project with using the product(s) purchased from their store (there are a lot of amazing products in there, do check out). The project had a requirement, that the product should contribute for atleast 50% of it all. and upload it to the site. The project with maximum number of votes would be winning a AED gift 100 voucher and also a Sketchbook.

Using a AED 50 voucher I won on PPS before, I had opted to purchase American Crafts Knock Outs STARTER KIT which is for AED 50.

I am not that good at using the punches on projects that well, so having seen this kind of a card a lot before from many other crafters, i gave it a try. and here is how it looks -

Its just a simple card with multi-layered borders of alternate colors, a locally purchased pp used in the middle, a couple of buttons and used the Unity Stamp Company's - You are my Sunshine with Colorbox yellow ink, both purchased from Ujjwal.

And guess what, I won the contest with 143 votes, *woot*. I would like to thank all my friends, and friends of friends, who have voted for me and made me win.

Regards,

Apeksha
